1997: A New Beginning
Misha immigrated to the U.S. in 1997 with his family, raised by parents who worked tirelessly in humble service jobs. From an early age, he learned resilience, humility, and ambition. At 16, while handing out flyers on street corners, he gained formative lessons in work ethic and self-reliance.

From Street Corners to Scholarships
By 18, he earned a Division I athletic scholarship, competed in the NCAA Final Four, and trained alongside Olympic-level athletes, experiences that reinforced his commitment to discipline, perseverance, and performance at the highest level. Nothing about this path was given, everything was earned.

2008: Crisis as Catalyst
After reaching the final cut for the USA Junior National Team in 2004, Misha continued training and competed at the NCAA Final Four. By 2008, he was weighing two paths, pursuing to earn a spot on the Senior National Team or heading to Europe to try his at playing professionally. A sudden, career-ending injury brought those aspirations to a halt, forcing him to pivot from athletics to finance. He graduated on a full scholarship from a Division I program in 2008, from a non-target school, entering the workforce at the height of the global financial crisis. His first role at a boutique investment banking firm underscored a lasting lesson: success is built on relationships and the discipline of showing up when it matters most.
